Sunstroke claims 3 lives in Port Sudan

sun_set_sea_strokeThe Minister of Health in the Red Sea State, Al Mekki Khdir Al Meki, has called on the citizens of the State to keep away from open public places and drink a lot of water in order to avoid sunstroke. Speaking to Radio Miraya, Al Mekki said despite three cases of death in the State due to sunstroke, reported cases for the last two weeks have not been alarming.

 

He said that his ministry has formed an emergency unit to receive and treat cases of sunstroke.
