The Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM) said that the UNAMID helicopter that went missing three days ago was carrying three of its members on their way to join the peace talks in Doha.
Speaking to Radio Miraya the movement's Spokesperson, Abdullah Mursal, said that the government troops held the aircraft and those who were on board. Murasal warned that the incident might negatively affect the progress of the peace talks.
Sudan Armed Forces, on it's part, denied connection with the incident. Spokesperson of the Sudan Armed Forces, Al-Sawarmi Khalid Sa'ad, denied that the army captured the helicopter. Speaking to Radio Miraya Saad said that they are still searching for the pilot who remains missing.
