FIFA accepts outcome of Sudan Football Association’s elections

The International Football governing body (FIFA) has recognized the Sudan Football Association (SFA) election results. Motasim Jaafar won the presidency of the SFA after elections were re-conducted on Friday.

A member of FIFA monitoring the elections, Taha Ismail, said the SFA elctions followed the conditions set forth by the international football body. Addressing the General Assembly following the announcement of the final results, Ismail called on the Sudan Football Association to cooperate with the government.

The SFA elections were re-conducted after complaints were raised by the former president, Kamal Shadad, to FIFA. Shadad had rejected the initial results which had led FIFA to call for a re-run of the elections.

Barcelona beats Sevilla 4-0 to win Spanish Super Cup

Barcelona Football Team has won the Spanish Super Cup after defeating Sevilla 4-0 in the returning match in Nou Camp, Saturday. Sevilla defeated Barcelona in the away match 3-1. Meanwhile, the football club of Inter Millan won the Italian Super Cup after defeating Roma 3-1.

Sudan Football Federation elections result annulled

Youth and Sports Association Arbitration Committee has annulled the results of the Sudan Football Federation (SFF). The body called for a re-run of the procedures of the General Assembly, after it accepted the appeal of Mr Salah Idriss against the electoral committee.

FIFA renews warning to SFFA of freezing it's activities

The International Football Governing body (FIFA) renewed its warning to the Sudan Football Federation Association (SFFA) to freeze the football activities if the association did not implement a number of conditions for holding the General Assembly meetings.

FIFA rejects to extend deadline to re-run elections of SFA

FIFA has rejected to extend the deadline it gave Sudan to re-run the elections of the executive committee of the Sudan Football Association (SFA).FIFA said that the deadline is final for the SFA to comply. SFA called on FIFA to extend the deadline.
