Demining team demolishes explosives in Aweil

The United Nations Mission in Sudan's Kenyan High Risk Demining Company demolished on Thursday, 19 August, approximately 150 unserviceable explosives collected from the Joint Integrated Unit ammunition store in Aweil Town, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.

Youth demonstrate for referendum awareness

Youth across Southern Sudan have taken to the streets on Friday, 9th July 2010, to mobilize the people of Southern Sudan to vote for secession in the upcoming referendum. The Southern Sudan Youth Forum that organized the event said that such awareness will continue in the region occasionally until referendum takes place next year. Library for law practioners in Juba

Southern Sudan Ministry of Legal Affairs and Constitution Development (MOLACD) has a fully functional Library in Juba, with a number of legal textbooks for the benefit of law students and practitioners. The Library is supported by International Organization partners. Our reporter Ceaser Moro visited the Library and prepared this report.
